I am … I was … I should be … I CAN be … I don’t think I am … I AM … am I? … I don’t know if I can …
Ever have a week like that? Roller coaster. (I hate roller coasters – they make me ill, really!)
So, why was I waffling around? I don’t know … but what if I DID? (know). After much back-and-forth with that question volley, I still didn’t have an answer – and I missed my blog deadline for the first time! Ack!
THEN … I watched the documentary “I AM” by Tom Shadyac. OMG – I think I’ll watch it weekly. It’s that powerful. “What’s wrong with the world?” … I am. “What’s right with the world?” I am. Sounds like it could be another roller coaster, but it isn’t. In fact, for me, it was a GROUND.
It gave me a clearer image of purpose and cause and method.
I can … “God said, ‘I don’t have anybody else to send … but you!'”
“We are hardwired for a compassionate response.” “We are, because we belong.”
“The sea is only drops of water come together.”
Love is the answer – and the plan – and the method – and the result – and the wonderful effect that is going to change the world. And it’s going to start with “one drop of water” – ME. (and when you add in all my MKMMA cohorts – tsunami, baby!) BAM!
Take THAT! roller coaster!

It definitely seems as though life is a roller coaster! I love your analogy on this. Great blog post!!!
Deb, I too found “I AM” to be a powerful documentary which a plan to view again. Thanks for sharing your roller coaster week and your insights.
I also found “I Am” to have a very profound effect on me, puts things in perspective doesn’t it? For me, sometimes the waffling helps solidifying and define my purpose. (LOL, other times, not) Thank you Deb for sharing your week’s struggle and triumph!
