A new session of the Master Key Experience begins in just a few short weeks. I’ve enjoyed two sessions as a student, and this year I am becoming a certified guide to mentor others through THEIR journey of self-discovery. Super excited about that!

There ARE pros and cons to this Master Key Experience, though. Here are mine:

PROS

The world looks new, because I became Conscious!!

My life really was numb to the choices and responses I could (and DID) make to situations in my life. I seemed to be on auto-pilot. Deepak Chopra would say I was “a bundle of conditioned reflexes”. One of the key components of the MKE is to become an expert, non-judgmental observer of one’s own self and the world outside the self. I  now witness my life as an unfolding miracle – not just sometimes, but ALL the time!

The World Within RULES!

The Master Key Experience teaches that the “World Within” creates the “World Without”. By diligently spending time in silence in the World Within, we open up to the conscious creation of the lives we are intended to live.

By becoming that keen observer, I  witness that truth over and over again … like the day I realized that my horse is actually the PERFECT manifestation of the horse of my childhood imaginings!

Things change!

By learning to observe, think (in silence) and then ACT to change thoughts and behaviors, the world shifts. Sometimes the movement is imperceptible and sometimes it’s grand. The cool thing is that I can now catch glimpses of these shifts, consciously, with gratitude and alter my life path daily.

CONS

We have met the Enemy and she is US!

The thoughts we entertained in the past create the present. The life we have today is exactly the life WE CREATED! If we don’t like the picture (and I wasn’t happy with MINE …) and want to change the landscape of our future, we can change our thoughts starting today.

We are the architects of our lives and The Master Key Experience requires us to create a new blueprint for that future – self-discovery from the heart. Not always an easy task – as our “old blueprint” can be very resistant to change.

This is hard mental labor!

Embarking on the Hero’s Journey of the MKE is a commitment to 6 months of diligent, resolute examination of where one has been, where one wants to go, and why one wants to go there … it IS a true gift to oneself. Even though each individual does personal work, every member is surrounded by guides, mentors and fellow travelers on the journey.

This is a Journey into the Unknown.

We live in the “known” of our own creation and if it is not to our liking, the discovery of “what could be” beckons us from the Unknown. MKE members travel the Hero’s Journey in league with each other to manifest their true selves.

All candidates who qualify for a Pay-It-Forward Scholarships will have to meet requirements to maintain them.
