Haanel’s visualization exercise in the Master Keys this week involved planting a seed and watching it grow. “… bring it from the unseen into the seen …” (32)

Like mental time lapse photography!

I planted daisies and watched them sprout, grow and bloom. As the week progressed, so did the “video footage”. It morphed from a straight visual as if in my garden, to watching the seed in a “see-through” science experiment box where I could see the roots and the above-ground growth. I found myself mesmerized by the roots cascading down into the soil – faster and faster, wider and further – anchoring the seed so firmly in place that NOTHING was going to be able to shake it or deter it from its mission to grow! Then, when the “unseen” work of grounding was well established – the “SEEN” growth began to appear. The stem is whole, the leaves are perfect, the plant is strong and powerful. As the branches expand, the plant extends itself into its world with love, engaging in harmony with others – and happy.

The daisy – the seed – the plant – has now (in my mind) made another transformation. I am no longer just WATCHING the process, I AM the process. I AM the seed. The work I (we) have been doing with the Master Keys, with the Alliance, with Mandino, is all the “unseen” – the “below-the-ground-anchoring-me-so-nothing-can-shake-or-deter-me” work! I am preparing my foundation.

Slowly and surely the the “seen” work is beginning to emerge. The affirmation “I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy” is TRUE. I repeat it often as I watch the seed, the flower that is ME heading toward blossoming. I can feel how my reach extends beyond anything I can really imagine, so the integrity with which I relate to the world MUST be authentic and true.

Haanel writes that “Action is the blossom of thought, and conditions are the result of action, so that you constantly have in your possession the tools …” to create the life you want – and to effect the lives of others.

I intend to nurture the sprout of my future with the thoughts and actions of today. I affirm this for myself and for others. And it shall be. Stay tuned!
