Week Eleven – One step at a Time

“The prizes of life are at the end of each journey,  not near the beginning; and it is not given to me to know how many steps are necessary in order to reach my goal.” Scroll III

venn colorsThis week, for me, was all about taking one more step; remembering that “In truth, one step at a time is not too difficult”. The journey to absorbing the new foundational blueprint guiding my thoughts and actions is paved with simple, concerted, conscious, specific steps. Fitting each step into the chaos (not cosmos this week) of my pre-holiday life has been a challenge!  If I look at each aspect separately, they are overwhelming, but if I view their synchronicity – BAM – a clear and beautiful picture begins to form! (Not to mention – here are ALL my colors! – plus a few) I look past the separateness to find how they all work together.

common factorI’m an artist – and this process of finding common factors, playing with combinations and permutations is FUN (ok – it is also work). The plan is to pull it all together into a cohesive NEW creation, in this case MY blueprint for a new reality. I breathe the words of Haanel in 11:30 “You ask in what does the creative power of thought consist? It consists in creating ideas, and these in turn objectify themselves by appropriating, inventing, observing, discerning, discovering, analyzing, ruling, governing, combining, and applying matter and force. It can do this because it is an intelligent creative power.”

… and 11:31 “Thought reaches its loftiest activity when plunged into its own mysterious depth; when it breaks through the narrow compass of self and passes from truth to truth to the region of eternal light, where all which is, was or ever will be, melt into one grand harmony.”

I remember that I am MORE than the sum of the parts. I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy. and ready to sit in silence and ponder the thought mantra for the week (and life) “Whatsoever things ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them”. Mark 11:24

Peace be our journey …. one step at a time.

Thanks for visiting. More next week. I promise!

(ps. These words were mostly taken from my Week 11 blog post from last session of MKMMA. Amazing how the pattern and flow follow from year to year. Thanks former self!)
