During our “sit” time this week, we focused on the Master Key exercise to visualize a seed growing. “Visualizing is … a very different process from seeing; seeing is physical, and is therefore related to the objective world, the “world without”, but Visualization is a product of the imagination, and is therefore a product of the subjective mind, the “world within”. (15)  “Thought is a spiritual activity and spirit is creative, therefore the result of holding this thought in mind, must necessarily bring about conditions in harmony with the thought.” (13)

Part way through the week the seed began to “talk” to me. (It’s all contained in my “world within” so it’s perfectly acceptable for the seed to be in conversation!)

“Thank you for placing me in the rich, fertile soil of your mind.

Thank you for your consistent and diligent care supporting me as I decided to grow.

Thank you for making this a safe place to begin to put forth roots; which I did tentatively at first – then faster and deeper and wider – weaving my thin new strands of life and energy and limitless possibility into the fabric of your mind. I am making new connections and creating a strong, unbreakable foundation upon which all future growth can depend.

With my roots firmly in place, I knew it was time to begin to branch out. First I sent out a shoot of my new self horizontally within the safe confines of your mind.  But soon I knew I needed to grow UPWARD and that I was strong enough to break through the rigid, crusty shell of the resistance of the “world without”  … the negativity, the solidity of prior experience and tradition, the disbelief in anything young and new. I DID BREAK THROUGH!

Once above the surface, no longer in the confined in the quiet, dark den of your mind, I experienced the lightness of hope and unlimited possibility! I soared my strong self skyward, branching out to embrace all there was to feed my soul and to absorb all the Universal energy around me.

I could feel my potential growing.

I KNEW what I wanted to be … what I was destined to be … what the world without NEEDS me to be (even though that world may not yet know it!)

It was time. I was ready. Are you?”

I was struck by the simple perfection of this analogy … seed/Master Key Experience creating new neuro-pathways within my subconscious and then manifesting new actions in my physical world. I THOUGHT it was a NEW thought … until I reviewed my “Week 9” post from last session of the MKMMA. Hmmm … all about the “seed and me”!

So – while this isn’t a NEW thought, it must be a TRUE thought … FOR ME anyway, since it’s returned for a second visit!

I like it. I’ll claim it. I’ll live it!
