Week Twenty-Two A: The Silence breaks the Cement

silenceisI am very comfortable being silent, so I looked forward to the suggestion we received this week to embrace an extended silence for whatever period of time we could release from the complexities of our daily responsibilities. Unplug, turn off, disconnect, relax, reflect, be still, think …. be ….. silent. We have been training ourselves to become impartial observers and intuitive thinkers. We think. We listen. We observe the thinking and the listening.  and yet …

As I was notifying various family members of my impending unavailability … this question was posed to me, after a brief explanation of the intent of both the course and of “the silence”:

“So …. should I have been seeing some sort of change in you?”

Now I really had something to ponder, observe, listen for and think about during my silence, didn’t I?! I felt like a load of cement had been dumped in my lap. (I just realized that we haven’t talked about cement in any blog posts so far. I apologize. It’s rather fundamental to the hero’s journey of the Master Key Experience! The essence of the story (and I’ve included the video clip for you at the end) is that we are ALL golden. We have been so covered in layers and layers of cement over the years of our lives from various sources that we don’t realize it. My mission is to chip, crack, explode and break free from that cement casing to reveal my true golden self.) So, to have someone ask if they should have been seeing any sort of change in me, made me wonder if my efforts had, seriously, not revealed any of my gold to the world without!

layers
Let’s work through the layers!

Haanel writes in Part Nine of the Master Keys that “If you wish to change conditions you must change yourself.” I called out ALL of my tools to make sense of the comment – and develop my plan of action for its resolution. “Action is the blossom of thought, and conditions are the result of action, so that you constantly have in your possession the tools by which you will certainly make or unmake yourself, and joy or suffering will be the reward.” The choice is MINE!

LAW OF SUBSTITUTION: I cannot hold two thoughts at the same time – so – I choose to think about all the successes I have observed in myself throughout this MKE instead of the criticism intended in the comment.

LAW OF DUAL THOUGHT: Thought is ideation plus feeling. I can attach ANY FEELING I want to ANY THOUGHT. I choose to be excited about the possibility of growth that comment sprouted in my spirit.

LAW OF FORGIVENESS: To access the divine and connect the subconscious to the Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent Creator, I must forgive anyone and everyone to clear the channel. I forgive the source of the comment.

“The mechanism is perfect; … sometimes the operator is inexperienced or inefficient, but practice and determination will overcome this defect.” (15) I master the 7 Laws of the Mind.

goldincement So … I pondered, observed, listened, thought, listened, reflected, listened and … am still formulating the “responses” to the comment. I know the answer is within me. I know it will reveal itself. How do I know? Because, as Dr. Seuss says:

“Today you are you. That’s truer than true. NO ONE ALIVE IS YOUER THAN YOU!”

I am GOLDEN. I may still have layers of cement to chip, scrape, break and dust off, yet I KNOW there is gold shining through! And then … the changes will be OBVIOUS!!goldnuggets

Enjoy the video my golden friends. I hope you chip away at YOUR cement. (We all have it, you know.) and thanks for visiting. More next week. I promise!
